I didn't even have my camera but this guy was so annoying that I grabbed a photo with my phone at the traffic signal. Basically, he was in a big fucking hurry, exhibited by the fact that he started by passing people on the right on upper Tramway road, then passed groups of cars at a time going down the hill on Tramway, punctuated by heavy tail gating. Dude, WTF is your problem? Running late at 7am? Maybe leave a little earlier next time, jackass. Gray Nissan/Infinity G35 NM license plate GYX418.

Here's my fabulous story I thought was very appropriate for this blog!
I don't know where to post this, but I feel a dire need to vent!
I just moved to ABQ from Michigan about 9 months ago, and the drivers here are the worst I have ever seen (I thought Detroit drivers were bad, but they're nothing compared to here!). Within a few months, my fiance and I already hated driving here. But then on April 17th, the day we closed on our first home, we were coming down Paseo at night: We had a green light, and a car pulled a left in front of us and my fiance had to slam on the brakes to the point that our ABS brakes locked up to avoid t-boning the car. My fiance waited no more than a second or two--he was a bit flustered--and then all of the sudden, a Ford truck slammed into our rear at over 55 mph. We were pushed clear across the intersection, and my fiance had to go to the hospital in an ambulance. When we saw our car in the tow yard a week later, the entire back end was crushed in--our brand new 2009 Honda Civic was a total loss. It was our first new car, and I LOVED that car.
But, what really takes the cake is that in the police report of the accident, the 18 year old who hit us made up a whole story about how we swerved into his lane and he tried to avoid us and just 'clipped our back end.' WE WERE AT A DEAD STOP WHEN HE HIT US AND SMASHED IN OUR ENTIRE TRUNK. As a result, my fiance has put away his motorcycle for good and is terrified of driving here. We want to move as soon as we are able, but we only moved here 9 months ago and we just bought a house. So, it's off to therapy for us!
Anne, that's a hell of a story and I'm really sorry that this is the way Albuquerque has treated you. The driving is truly awful and there are probably many reasons for this. I hope that you are able to recover from this and that our beautiful city has enough to offer so that you are able to stay a while.
It's just amazing that after this many laws, education centers we are experiencing much more accidents from reckless driving habits from well educated persons.
